The different types of health and safety policies and procedures which need to be included in your OHS program depends upon the nature of your work, the hazard rating of your industry and how large your organization is. However, WorkSafeBC does state that your Occupational health and Safety Program in BC needs to be designed a certain way as per the OHSR Regulations.
At Empire Safety Solutions, we can provide your company with a professional site-specific Occupational Health and Safety Program. Our programs are professionally developed and in full compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations and other provincial/federal legislation's. Our professional and highly experienced health and safety consultants will initially conduct a thorough site inspection and a full safety audit of your facility. From there your health and safety program will then start development and usually takes no more than two weeks for completion. Once the program is complete our health and safety professionals will sit down with your team to go over the content of the program (i.e. policies and procedures), educate your team on how to effectively implement the program in your workplace and educate your team on how to efficiently complete applicable forms.
